US singer, Beyonce has revealed why she featured Wizkid and other African artiste in her new album, set for release on Friday, July 19 2019.

The new album titled “The Lion King: The Gift” features Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi, Burna Boy and Tekno. Shatta Wale was the only Ghanaian artiste featured in the album.

According to Beyonce, she wanted a collection of songs from different genres that express what she’s trying to pass across.
“This is a sonic cinema. This is a new experience of storytelling. I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film. It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound. It is influenced by everything from R&B, pop, hip hop and Afro Beat”, she said.
“I wanted to put everyone on their own journey to link the storyline. Each song was written to reflect the film’s storytelling that gives the listener a chance to imagine their own imagery while listening to a new contemporary interpretation.
“It was important that the music was not only performed by the most interesting and talented artists but also produced by the best African producers. Authenticity and heart were important to me”, Beyonce stated

On Sunday, designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon debuted Kenzo’s Spring 2020 menswear collection, their final show as the label’s creative heads. For the occasion, the duo pulled out all the stops to put on an epic presentation, including calling on singer Solange Knowles to put on a halftime show. Clad in a floral gown from the collection, which also included womenswear, Solange looked ever the Kenzo cool girl; but it was her show-stopping beauty moment that ultimately stole the show.
To achieve the look, Solange enlisted one of her go-to hair stylists, Jawara Wauchope. “The inspiration for the hair on Solange came from Solange herself,” Wauchope told Vogue. “She wanted something with structure like a sculpture, and she wanted to be able to see the detail from afar, that would go great with the look Kenzo designed for her.”
The pair landed on a runway-worthy updo that defied gravity. Individual braids were entwined with wiring to keep the look’s structure intact. To create the intricate style, Wauchope began “with really small sectioning, we call them micro braids,” he said. “Then we took the braids and tied it into a ponytail in the back of her head, not too low. Then we created five big braids out of the ponytail, and in the big braids, I braided in fine black wire.” To finish it off, Wauchope then “scuttled the braids into a great form and pinned it into place, along with the beautiful headdress.”A netted headpiece with pearly accents amplified the look even further, matching the details that extended from Solange’s gloves.
Always one for experimentation, the singer’s carefully composed updo—and clear vision from the get-go—prove her artistic expression goes far beyond music-making.
Let’s hope Kanye West’s hit-making skills were passed onto his kids. His eldest child, North West, apparently wants to be a rapper just like her famous father! The six-year-old daughter of Kanye and Kim Kardashian, 38, revealed the all her future dreams to her family in a new Instagram video. “[I want to be] a dancer,” little North could be heard saying. “I want to be a rapper and I want to be a singer!”she exclaimed. The confession was made to mom Kim as well as her great grandmother, Mary Jo, who were incredibly supportive of North’s dreams. Is it only a matter of time before North is scooping up Grammys herself?
While this is the first time North has revealed her big Hollywood dreams, we already knew she was set for superstardom. I mean, just look at the music video she created this past past May! North and her mom made a homemade music video dancing along to Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” and it was immediately apparent that this little lady was made for the limelight. Between her flawless dance moves and the sass she tossed at the camera — she’s already got all the makings of a pop star!
It was so sweet to see just how supportive North’s mom and gram were of her big time dreams. North’s confession might have taken center stage in the clip, but the video was actually supposed to shed light on Kim’s new body makeup line. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was seen showing MJ how to apply the new product to her own skin. “My grandma MJ asked me about my Body Makeup and wanted me to come over to help cover her veins. North & I went straight to her house & showed her exactly how to use it & I love how happy she is with the results!” Kim explained in one part of her caption. Kim’s full body cosmetics collection launches on June 21. Watch the promotional video where you can hear all about North’s future dreams.

Talking about wizkid he is a very talented artist with a couple of awards even internationally known , he is “THE” artist.
Back to the topic Wizkid is a very sensible dresser he’s taste for fashion is as great as he’s sounds, he got some UK touch up, with some American flavours & then mashed it up with Afro, damn that’s a great taste his fashion sense is lovely although everybody has a mentor who he/she wants to sing like dress like your motivator but am sure Wizkid got 88% of us Nigerians love.
Wizkid has always been the kind of musician that loves to dress perfectly i would say he is an ICON, WIZKID was also invited by Naomi campbell to the Dolce & Gabanna runway in 2018 he was looking fabulous he has made lots of great friends in the industry both home & abroad ……..he has linked up with Tydolla$, chrisbrown, future, skepta & lots more in the past few years, Wizkid should be surulere’s 2pac because it suits him perfectly and he he is also a proudly father of 3 amazing sons
Wizkid is the king of African pop we have wonderful acts like Burnaboy,Davido & lots more….. but there’s something noticeable about wizkid recently he hasn’t been really posting and he has really gone lowkey i like the fact he is now pasted all that old lifestyle wiz never post his recently acquired luxuries & that’s really mature.
WIZKID is a great artist that this world would never forget, he is a legend and also a story to be told to the future generations.
